Souvenirs from Cuba - March 2016

Looking at my archives,  I found these nice souvenir of Cuba.

March 27, 2016, La Habana. The road near the Malecón and the mythic National Habana Hotel receives the sunset light. Young Cubans are crossing the road while an old American car, a “taxi colectivo” is following its way. This typical old car is a symbol of the Cuban capital. It’s also a living testimony of the economic embargo effects, with the prohibition to import recent cars.
Few days ago on March 2016, the United States president Barack Obama went to Cuba for a historic visit. Since 1928, no US president ever travelled to the Caribbean island.

I remembered this night I was coming back from the Malecón, after some good meetings with friends, good rhum and a looooot of Mariachi music. Well, a classic cuban night after all. I was on my way to my bed when I met this woman on the street, tired like me, and walking, alone with such a style. And this big head of tiger on her dress, suggesting: "Yeaah I'm pretty beautiful, Yeaah, do not try to touch me without my permission, and yeahhh I'm free I do what I want". (March 29, 2016)
