El Salvador - Adelante Program with the International Women's Media Foundation

Between March 26 and April 12, I was following the Adelante program of the IWMF. After some days in Mexico to receive a Hostile Environments & Emergency First Aid Training (HEFAT), I was in El Salvador to begin some new stories, at the same time of 6 other female journalists as part of the fellowship. A lot of meetings… A first trip to feel the country and go back in few times.

At the times of the Holy Week in San Salvador, a catholic procession is crossing a hooded military group.

A Sunday morning at the time of the mass and near the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Savior, a woman is selling some poster of the Christ and Monsignor Romero, archbishop of San Salvador taht was killed by the military and the beginning of the 1980. He still stays a popular and loved figure of the contemporary Salvador.
